Common questions

How old do I need to be?

Drivers must be at least 25, with a valid licence held for 2 years or more.

Do I need a local driving permit?

Yes, unless you live in an OECS country. The St Lucia permit is US$25, including arranging it for you, and is valid for 3 months. We sort it out when we deliver the car, so just bring your home driving licence.

Can you deliver the car to my hotel?

Yes. Choose Hotel/Resort or Custom and tell us where you are staying. Delivery is free.

What about a deposit?

A refundable US$500 deposit is taken in cash at delivery and returned when the car comes back in the same condition. The car is insured, but you are responsible for any damage, loss or theft during your rental. Repair costs come from the deposit first, and anything above that is charged to you.

When do I pay?

Nothing is charged when you book online. You pay in cash on delivery, after we go through a short rental agreement together.

Can someone else drive?

Yes. Additional drivers are US$10 per day, and each needs their own St Lucia permit. All drivers must be 25 or older.

What if I cancel or return late?

Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. There is a 1 hour grace period on returns. After that, a late fee of US$10 applies, and a full extra day is charged from 2 hours late. Returning early? 50% of the unused days is charged.
