What you pay

The daily rate is shown at the top of this page, with a 3 day minimum. The only extras are a one-time St Lucia driving permit of US$25 per driver, your own fuel, which goes a long way in a hybrid, and US$10 per day for each additional driver. A refundable US$500 security deposit is taken in cash at delivery and returned when the car comes back in the same condition. Any damage is taken from the deposit first. Renting for 7 days or more? How booking works

Book online in a minute and nothing is charged. You get an email straight away, then we check your dates and confirm, usually within 30 minutes. We bring the car to you with a full tank, go through a short rental agreement together for you to sign, and you pay in cash on delivery.

How old do I need to be?
Drivers must be at least 25, with a valid licence held for 2 years or more.

Do I need a local driving permit?
Yes. Visitors need a St Lucia driving permit, which is US$25, including arranging it for you, and is valid for 3 months. We arrange it for you when we deliver the car. Bring your home driving licence. Already hold a valid St Lucia permit? Tell us and we will take it off your total. Residents of OECS countries do not need a St Lucia permit.

What is a hybrid, and do I need to charge it?
No charging needed. You fill it with regular petrol like any car. The hybrid system recharges itself while you drive and brake, which is why it uses so little fuel.

How does the deposit work?
A refundable US$500 security deposit is taken in cash at delivery and returned in full when the car comes back in the same condition.

Am I responsible if the car is damaged?
Yes. The car is insured, but you are responsible for damage, loss or theft during your rental, whoever is at fault. Repair costs are first taken from your US$500 deposit, and anything above that is charged to you. Please report any accident to us and to the police straight away.

What is the fuel policy?
Full to full. The car arrives with a full tank, and you return it full.

What if I return the car late?
Please return the car at the agreed time. There is a 1 hour grace period. After that, a late fee of US$10 applies, and a full extra day is charged if the car is 2 or more hours late. Running late? Message us on WhatsApp and we will do our best to help.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. If you return the car early, 50% of the unused days is charged.

Can someone else drive?
Yes. Additional drivers cost US$10 per day, and each driver needs their own St Lucia driving permit. All drivers must be 25 or older and show their licence at delivery.

Are there any other charges?
Only if needed. A cleaning fee of at least US$50 applies if the car comes back needing extensive cleaning, for example from smoking, liquid stains or heavy sand. Smoking is not allowed in our cars.

Do you provide child seats?
Yes, child seats are available free of charge on request. Just ask when you book.

Where can you deliver the car?
UVF and SLU airports, and any hotel, resort or villa on the island. Delivery and collection are free.
