Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party with Private Round-Trip Ride

The Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party is the best-known night out in St Lucia. Every Friday, the little fishing village of Gros Islet closes its streets to traffic, the grills fire up, the speakers come out and locals and visitors fill the road until 2am. It is loud, friendly, full of good food and completely authentic.

Getting there and back is the part worth planning, and that is what we take care of. Your driver collects you from your resort, villa or Airbnb at the time you choose, drops you close to the party and comes back for you at 2am, when the music stops and the party closes. The price is fixed and agreed before you go out, so at the end of the night you simply walk to the car and head home.

Prices

All prices are per vehicle, round trip, and cover up to 4 people. Groups of 5 to 8 add $25 per extra person.

You pay one price for your whole group, so from the north a couple pays $40 each and a group of four pays $20 each.

How it works

1. Book online. Choose your Friday and enter your pickup address at checkout. We then message you on WhatsApp to confirm your pickup time.
2. Get picked up. Your driver collects you at your chosen time and drops you close to the party.
3. Enjoy the night. Eat, dance and explore at your own pace.
4. Ride home at 2am. The party closes at 2am, and your driver is there to take you back to your door.

What to expect at the party

Vendors grill fresh fish, barbecue chicken, pork and Creole favourites on roadside stalls, with sides like macaroni pie and fried plantain. Rum punch, local Piton beer and fresh juices are sold on almost every corner.

The music is the heartbeat of the night. Sound systems play reggae, soca and dancehall, along with St Lucia's own high-energy Dennery Segment. As the evening builds, the dancing spills into the road, with locals and visitors out for the Friday night lime.

Come early for food and a calmer walk around, or later for the music and dancing.
