UVF Airport to StolenTime by Rendezvous Private Transfer

StolenTime is on Malabar Beach at Vigie, just north of Castries and about 63 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 60 to 75 minutes. The fare is $110 for the whole vehicle rather than a price per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.

Your driver is inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, takes the luggage and has you on the road a few minutes after clearing customs. The rate is fixed at booking.

The drive from Hewanorra to Vigie

The route north runs up the Atlantic side of the island. From Vieux Fort the Micoud Highway passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge that divides St Lucia, then drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries.

The drive goes through the city, so weekday rush hours, roughly 7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm, are where time can be lost, and cruise ship days add traffic near the port. We plan the pickup around your landing so the city is crossed at the best moment available.

The last few minutes are short and flat. The road runs out to the Vigie peninsula along the edge of George F. L. Charles Airport, and the resort sits between that runway and the beach. It is one of the easiest arrivals on the island, with no hill, no track and no gatehouse queue.

The property was Rendezvous before it became StolenTime and both names are still used. Either works with us, but book under the name on your reservation.

Around Malabar Beach and Vigie

Malabar is a long, flat stretch of sand running the length of the peninsula, which is unusual on this coast where most beaches sit in small coves.

The airport next door is the thing guests ask about. It handles regional flights rather than long haul, the aircraft are small, and the traffic is daytime, so it is a feature of the afternoon rather than the night. It is also useful. If you are island hopping, your departure gate is minutes away rather than an hour down the coast.

Castries is around five minutes south, with the Central Market, Derek Walcott Square and the cruise terminals at Pointe Seraphine and La Place Carenage. Morne Fortune sits above the harbour with the view over it. Rodney Bay and its restaurants are about twenty minutes north, and Marigot Bay is around twenty five minutes south. Soufriere and the Pitons are an hour and a quarter away, so a day trip works comfortably from here.

How booking works

1. Pick this transfer, choose the pay-in-cash option, register and submit your details. The flight number field is optional at this stage.
2. You get a confirmation email straight away letting you know we have received the booking.
3. Someone goes through your details and confirms the booking, usually in under 30 minutes, and you get a confirmation email.
4. We assign your driver and ask for the flight number about 24 hours before travel if we do not have it. He meets you at arrivals with a name sign, takes the luggage and drives you out to Vigie. You settle in cash once you are at the resort.

I am flying into SLU George Charles Airport. Can you collect me?

Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $35 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Yes, the property sits between George F. L. Charles Airport and the beach. The aircraft are small regional ones and the traffic is daytime, so nights are quiet.

Can you drop me at Vigie for a connecting flight?

Yes, and it takes minutes from the resort. Tell us at booking if your onward flight leaves from there rather than UVF.

Should I book as Rendezvous or StolenTime?

Either. The name changed, our drivers know both, and we go by whichever appears on your hotel reservation.

How close is Castries?

About five minutes, with the market and the cruise terminals a similar distance. It makes this a practical base before or after a cruise.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track it and update the driver, who waits. No extra charge and the booking holds.

How do I pay?
