UVF Airport to Cherry Blossom Villa Private Transfer

Cherry Blossom Villa is in the north of St Lucia, roughly 75 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 80 to 95 minutes. The fare is $132 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.

Your driver is inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, takes the luggage and has you on the road a few minutes after clearing customs. The rate is fixed when you book.

The drive from Hewanorra to the north

The route runs up the Atlantic side of the island. From Vieux Fort the Micoud Highway passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge across the middle of St Lucia, then drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries. From there the coastal highway continues north past Choc Bay and Bois d'Orange.

Castries is where time is lost, usually 7am to 9am inbound and 4pm to 6pm outbound, and Rodney Bay slows in the early evening as the restaurants open.

The part worth thinking about in advance is the timing at the other end. A villa is not a hotel, and if you land before the changeover is finished there is no lobby to sit in, no bar and nobody at a desk. Tell us your flight and we will tell you roughly when you would arrive. If that is too early, the driver can build in a stop for lunch or a supermarket run rather than depositing you on the doorstep while the cleaners are still working.

Send us a contact number for whoever is handling your arrival too. Northern villa lanes are residential and often unnamed, and one phone call saves a lot of driving in circles.

Around the villa

The north is the most convenient part of St Lucia, but villas here sit on residential hillsides rather than in the middle of things, so almost nothing is within walking distance.

Rodney Bay is the local hub, with Reduit Beach, the restaurant strip, Baywalk Mall, supermarkets and pharmacies. Pigeon Island National Landmark, with the fort ruins and two sheltered beaches, is a short drive, and Gros Islet village holds its street party on Friday nights. Castries and the cruise terminals are around twenty five minutes south.

Soufriere and the Pitons are 90 minutes to two hours away, so plan a full day with a driver, or see them from the water on a boat trip out of Rodney Bay.

3. Someone goes through your details and confirms the booking, usually in under 30 minutes, and you get a confirmation email.
4. We assign your driver and ask for the flight number about 24 hours before travel if we do not have it. He meets you at arrivals with your name on a sign, takes the bags and drives you north to the villa door. The cash payment is made there, once you have arrived.

Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $40 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. We land before the villa is ready. What happens?

Tell us and we will plan around it. There is no reception to wait in at a villa, so a stop for lunch or supplies on the way is usually better than arriving early and waiting outside.

How should we arrange the return pickup?

Check the villa's departure time with whoever manages it, then book the return with us around that. Villas often have a fixed checkout, so the two need to line up.

Can you drive us during the stay?

Yes. Beach runs, evening trips into Rodney Bay or Gros Islet, and full day excursions south are all straightforward to arrange, and best booked ahead.

Can you collect us late at night?

Yes, we run at all hours. Give us as much notice as you can for a late pickup so the driver is assigned properly.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track it and update your driver, who waits. No extra charge and the booking stands.

How do I pay?
