Windjammer Landing sits in Labrelotte Bay on the northwest coast, between Castries and Rodney Bay, roughly 68 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 70 to 85 minutes. The fare is $121 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.
Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, takes the luggage and has you on the road a few minutes after customs. The rate is fixed at the time of booking.
Nothing is charged online and there is no deposit.
The drive from Hewanorra to Labrelotte Bay
The route north runs up the Atlantic side of the island. From Vieux Fort the Micoud Highway passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge across the middle of St Lucia, then drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries.
From Castries it is ten to fifteen minutes north along the coast, past Choc Bay, before the turning for the bay. Castries is where delays come from, generally 7am to 9am inbound and 4pm to 6pm outbound on weekdays, and we set the pickup around your landing time to work with that.
The final approach is a steep, winding descent from the main road down to the cove. It is short, and it ends at the resort entrance where your driver hands over. From there the property climbs the hillside in terraces, so the resort's own transport takes you up to your villa. If anyone in your group finds steps difficult, it is worth asking the hotel for accommodation low on the hill when you confirm your booking.
Around Labrelotte Bay
The bay is a quiet cove with the resort built around it and its own stretch of beach. That seclusion is the appeal, and it also means there is nowhere to walk to for dinner or shopping.
Rodney Bay, with Reduit Beach, the restaurant strip, Baywalk Mall and supermarkets, is ten to fifteen minutes north by road. Castries and the cruise terminals are about fifteen minutes south, and Pigeon Island National Landmark is around twenty minutes up the coast. Boat trips can pick up from the bay itself, so a catamaran day does not necessarily start with a drive.
Soufriere and the Pitons are roughly an hour and a half south. From here that is a comfortable day trip rather than the two hour run it is from the top of the island, which is one advantage of being this far down the coast.

Frequently asked questions
I am flying into SLU George Charles Airport. Can you collect me?
Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $40 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers. Select SLU under "Your airport" to see the price and book. Your driver tracks your flight and waits for you, with the same fixed price on the return trip.
Why is this cheaper than a Rodney Bay transfer?
Labrelotte Bay is closer to the airport than Rodney Bay by ten to fifteen minutes of driving, and the fare reflects the distance rather than the hotel.
Where exactly is the resort?
In a cove between Castries and Rodney Bay, off the coastal highway north of Choc Bay. It is not in Rodney Bay, though Rodney Bay is a short drive.
How steep is the property?
Steep. Villas are terraced up the hillside and the resort runs its own transport between the levels, so the walk from reception to your room is not one you do with suitcases.
Can I walk to restaurants?
No, the cove is self contained. Rodney Bay is ten to fifteen minutes by road and we can arrange evening runs if you want to eat out.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track the flight and update the driver, who waits. No extra charge and the booking stands.
How do I pay?
Cash to the driver once you reach the resort. Nothing is taken online and there is no deposit.
Book your UVF to Windjammer Landing transfer now and we will confirm it by email once someone has checked your details.
