UVF Airport to Caille Blanc Villa Private Transfer

Caille Blanc is a private villa on the hillside above Soufriere, with the Pitons in view, about 37 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 45 to 60 minutes. The fare is $110 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.

Your driver is inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. He takes the luggage and you are on the road a few minutes after clearing customs, at the price fixed when you booked.

The drive from Hewanorra to Caille Blanc

The road runs west out of Vieux Fort through Laborie and Choiseul, then climbs north into the hills above the coast. It is sealed the whole way but it bends and climbs continuously, which is why a short distance takes close to an hour.

Coming over the high ground the Pitons appear above the bay, and there is a safe place to pull in if you want a photograph before you arrive. The villa approach is a private drive off the hill road, short and steep, ending at the gates.

Two things are worth sorting before you travel, because a villa is not a hotel. There is no reception desk waiting for you, so the villa manager needs to know roughly when you will land, and we can pass on our arrival estimate once we have your flight. And if the party is arriving on more than one flight, tell us. We can either hold the vehicle for a short gap or run two transfers, and it is far cheaper to plan that than to sort it out on the day.

If you want a supermarket stop on the way up, say so when you book and the driver will allow for it.

Around Caille Blanc

You are on the hillside with the valley below and no shops or restaurants in walking distance, so everything off the property is a drive. That is the trade for the position and the quiet.

Soufriere town is about ten minutes down, with the market, bank, pharmacy and local restaurants, and the waterfront jetty for water taxis. Sulphur Springs, the drive-in volcano, is roughly fifteen minutes away, Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens sits beside the town, and the Tet Paul Nature Trail is a short drive south for the two-Piton view. The nearest sand is Malgretoute, about ten minutes down the hill.

Most villa parties end up wanting a driver for a day or two, or a rental car delivered to the gate. Both are easier to arrange alongside the transfer than after you land.

How booking works

3. Someone goes through your details and confirms the booking, usually in under 30 minutes, and you get a confirmation email.
4. We assign your driver and ask for the flight number about 24 hours before travel if we do not have it. He meets you at arrivals with your name on a sign, takes charge of the bags and drives you up to the villa gates. Cash is settled there, at the end of the trip.

I am flying into SLU George Charles Airport. Can you collect me?

Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $120 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. The villa's own staff, not us. Give them an arrival window before you travel, and we can confirm our estimated arrival time once we have your flight.

Can we stop for groceries?

Yes, if you need to. Ask when you book so the time is allowed for, and check first whether the villa has already stocked the kitchen.

Can you drive us during the stay?

Yes. Day trips, evening runs into Soufriere and a rental delivered to the villa are all straightforward, and easiest to book alongside the transfer.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track it and update your driver. He waits, at no extra charge, and the booking stands.

How do I pay?
