UVF Airport to Coco Palm Resort Private Transfer

Coco Palm is in the middle of Rodney Bay village, at the north end of the island and roughly 75 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 80 to 95 minutes. The fare is $132 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.

The drive from Hewanorra to Rodney Bay village

The route north runs up the Atlantic side. From Vieux Fort the Micoud Highway passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge that splits the island, then drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries. From there the coastal highway continues north past Choc Bay and Bois d'Orange to the Rodney Bay turn.

The last few minutes run through the village itself, which is the busiest small area in St Lucia. It fills up in the early evening as the restaurants open, so an evening landing means a slow final stretch. Your driver pulls into the hotel forecourt rather than leaving you on the street with your cases.

One thing worth planning for. Check-in here is normally mid afternoon, and plenty of flights land in the morning. If you are going to arrive early, tell us and the driver can stop on the way, or take you to the hotel to leave the bags before you go and find lunch. It is easier arranged in advance than worked out at reception.

Around Coco Palm

The location is the point. You are in the village, so the restaurant strip is on your doorstep, Baywalk Mall is across the road with supermarkets, pharmacies and ATMs, and Reduit Beach is a short walk away. Very little here needs a car or a driver, which is unusual on this island.

That also means it is lively. Rodney Bay is where people come out to eat and drink, so evenings have some noise to them. Guests who want quiet usually prefer the coves further south, and guests who want to walk to dinner pick this.

Pigeon Island National Landmark is about ten minutes north by road, Gros Islet next door holds its Friday street party, and the marina is a few minutes away for boat trips. Soufriere and the Pitons are 90 minutes to two hours south, so plan a full day if you want them.

4. We assign your driver and ask for the flight number about 24 hours before travel if we do not have it. He is at arrivals with your name on a sign, takes the bags and drives you north to the hotel forecourt. Payment in cash happens there, once the journey is done.

Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $40 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Tell us when you book. The driver can build in a stop on the way, or take you straight there to drop the bags so you can walk out to the beach or lunch while the room is prepared.

Can I walk to the beach and restaurants?

Yes. Reduit Beach is a short walk and the restaurants and mall are right there, which is the main reason people choose this part of Rodney Bay.

Where does the driver drop us?

At the hotel forecourt. The village road gets busy in the evening, so the driver takes you in rather than stopping on the street.

Is it a quiet spot?

Not especially. Rodney Bay is the island's dining and nightlife area, so there is life around you in the evenings. If you want quiet, the coves south of here suit better.

What if my flight is delayed?

We follow it and update the driver, who waits. No extra charge and your booking holds.
