Group Size Up to 8 passengers
Cap Cove is at Cap Estate, the northern tip of St Lucia, roughly 80 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 80 to 95 minutes. The fare is $132 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.
Your driver is inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, takes the luggage and has you on the road a few minutes after clearing customs. The rate is fixed at booking.
Nothing is charged online and there is no deposit.
The drive from Hewanorra to Cap Estate
The route north runs up the Atlantic side of the island. From Vieux Fort the Micoud Highway passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge that splits St Lucia, then drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries. The coastal highway continues north past Choc Bay and Bois d'Orange to Rodney Bay.
Past that, the road carries on through Gros Islet and up into Cap Estate, which adds ten to fifteen minutes. The lanes up here are residential, narrow in places and unlit at night, and several entrances look much alike. Give us the property name and unit or villa number when you book, since that is what gets your driver to the right gate rather than the one next door.
Traffic, when there is any, is around Castries at weekday rush hours and near Gros Islet on Friday evenings.
Around Cap Cove
Cap Estate is the quiet end of the island, residential and spread out, with the golf course on the hillsides and small bays on both coasts.
The Atlantic side is what makes this corner different. Cas en Bas is the beach on that side, known for wind, kite surfing and the horse riding that runs along the sand. Worth knowing before you go: the track down to it is rough and rutted, and ordinary hire cars struggle with it. Most guests either ride down with an operator or ask us to run them, which is simpler than finding out the hard way.
On the calmer side, Pigeon Island National Landmark is about ten minutes away with its fort ruins and sheltered beaches. Gros Islet village is a similar distance and holds its street party on Friday nights, and Rodney Bay, with the restaurants, marina and mall, is fifteen to twenty minutes south.
Soufriere and the Pitons are around two hours away by road from here, so plan a full day, or see them from the water on a boat trip out of Rodney Bay.

Frequently asked questions
I am flying into SLU George Charles Airport. Can you collect me?
Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $40 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers. Select SLU under "Your airport" to see the price and book. Your driver tracks your flight and waits for you, with the same fixed price on the return trip.
What should I send you about the address?
The property name plus your villa or unit number. Cap Estate lanes are residential and entrances look similar, so that detail matters more here than in Rodney Bay.
What is the road to Cas en Bas like?
Rough and rutted. It is fine in the right vehicle and hard work in a small hire car, so ask us or go with an operator rather than attempting it in a compact.
Is there horse riding or kite surfing nearby?
Yes, both run from Cas en Bas on the Atlantic side, a short drive from the property. We can get you there and back.
Can we walk to restaurants?
No. Cap Estate is spread out and dark at night, so evening runs into Rodney Bay or Gros Islet are worth booking in advance.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it and update your driver, who waits. No extra charge and the booking stands.
How do I pay?
Cash to the driver once you arrive. Nothing is taken online and there is no deposit.
Book your UVF to Cap Cove transfer now and we will confirm it by email once someone has checked your details.
