Zoëtry Marigot Bay is at the water's edge on the marina side of Marigot Bay, roughly 55 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 55 to 65 minutes. The fare is $110 for the whole vehicle rather than a charge per head, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.
Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, takes the luggage and has you moving a few minutes after customs. The rate is fixed at booking, so nothing is discussed at the kerb.
Nothing is charged online and there is no deposit.
The drive from Hewanorra to Marigot Bay
The quickest route north runs up the Atlantic side. The Micoud Highway leaves Vieux Fort and passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge across the middle of the island, and drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries. From there it is about twenty minutes south along the west coast road.
Castries is where any delay comes from, typically 7am to 9am inbound and 4pm to 6pm outbound on weekdays. We set the pickup around your landing time to work around it.
The turn for Marigot is easy to miss and the road down to the water is steep, narrow and single track in places, so meeting a delivery truck coming up can hold you for a minute or two. It is a short descent and it ends at sea level, right by the marina, which is where the resort is. Your driver takes you to the entrance rather than the top of the hill.
Around Zoëtry Marigot Bay
The resort sits on the marina itself, so you arrive at the door by road and do not need the little ferry that crosses to the far side of the bay. That crossing is worth taking anyway at some point, since the stretch of sand across the water is on the opposite spit rather than in front of the resort.
The bay is a deep, sheltered inlet with hills on both sides, long used by sailors as a hurricane hole, and it is still a working marina. Charter boats, day sails and water taxis all leave from here.
Within a short drive there is more than the bay suggests. The rum distillery in the Roseau valley is close by, Anse La Raye is about ten minutes south and holds its fish fry on Friday evenings, Castries is roughly twenty minutes north, and Soufriere and the Pitons are about 45 minutes down the coast, which is close enough to do in a day.

Frequently asked questions
I am flying into SLU George Charles Airport. Can you collect me?
Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $55 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers. Select SLU under "Your airport" to see the price and book. Your driver tracks your flight and waits for you, with the same fixed price on the return trip.
Do I need the ferry to reach the resort?
No. The resort is on the marina side and the driver brings you to the entrance. The ferry is only for crossing to the far side of the bay.
Is there a beach at the resort?
The main stretch of sand is across the water on the opposite spit. The resort side is marina frontage, so plan on the short crossing if you want the beach.
What is nearby without a car?
The marina restaurants and boat trips are on your doorstep. The rum distillery in the Roseau valley and the Friday fish fry at Anse La Raye are both short drives, and we can arrange the transport.
Is the road down difficult?
Steep and narrow, and single track in places, so it can be slow if something is coming the other way. It only takes a few minutes.
What if my flight is delayed?
We follow the flight and update the driver. He waits, at no additional charge.
How do I pay?
Cash to the driver once you reach the resort. Nothing is taken online and no deposit is required.
