UVF Airport to Cap Estate Private Transfer
-
Type Airport Transfers
-
Group Size Up to 8 passengers
Cap Estate is the headland at the very top of St Lucia, roughly 80 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). The drive takes 80 to 95 minutes, which makes it the longest airport run on the island. The fare is $132 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.
This transfer covers any address in Cap Estate, whether you are booked into a resort, a private villa or a rental apartment. Your driver meets you inside arrivals with a sign showing your name, takes the luggage and has you on the road minutes after customs.
Nothing is charged online and there is no deposit.
The drive from Hewanorra to Cap Estate
The route north runs up the Atlantic side of the island. From Vieux Fort the Micoud Highway passes through Micoud and Dennery, climbs into rainforest at Barre de l'Isle, the ridge that splits St Lucia, then drops through the Cul de Sac valley into Castries. From there the coastal highway continues north past Choc Bay and Bois d'Orange to Rodney Bay.
Cap Estate is beyond all of that. The road carries on through Gros Islet and climbs onto the headland, adding ten to fifteen minutes to a Rodney Bay drop. Traffic is a Castries problem at weekday rush hours, and Gros Islet slows on Friday evenings when the street party runs.
The address matters more on this route than most. Cap Estate is residential, the lanes are narrow and unlit, and several entrances look alike in the dark. Send the property name, the villa or unit number if you have one, and a contact number for whoever handles your arrival. With that, the driver reaches the right gate rather than the one next door.
Around Cap Estate
The headland has two coasts and they are nothing alike. The western side is calm, with small bays, the golf course on the slopes above and a string of resorts along the shore. The eastern side faces the Atlantic at Cas en Bas, which is breezy, popular for kite surfing and horse riding, and reached by a rough track that ordinary hire cars find hard going.
Nothing in Cap Estate is walkable. It is spread out and quiet, which is the appeal, but it means transport for every meal out or beach that is not your own. Rodney Bay, with the restaurant strip, Baywalk Mall and the supermarkets, is fifteen to twenty minutes south. Gros Islet village is closer, and Pigeon Island National Landmark is about ten minutes away.
Soufriere and the Pitons are around two hours by road from here. Many guests staying this far north see them from the water instead, on a boat trip down the west coast out of Rodney Bay.

Frequently asked questions
I am flying into SLU George Charles Airport. Can you collect me?
Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $40 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers. Select SLU under "Your airport" to see the price and book. Your driver tracks your flight and waits for you, with the same fixed price on the return trip.
I am staying in a villa rather than a hotel. Is this the right transfer?
Yes. This covers any Cap Estate address. Send the property name and unit details so the driver knows exactly where to stop.
How far past Rodney Bay is Cap Estate?
Ten to fifteen minutes. The road continues through Gros Islet and up onto the headland after the Rodney Bay turn.
Is there anywhere to eat or shop within Cap Estate?
Not within walking distance of most addresses. Rodney Bay is the nearest hub, fifteen to twenty minutes south, and we can arrange evening runs.
Can we reach Cas en Bas easily?
The track down is rough, so it is worth going with an operator or asking us rather than driving a small hire car down it.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it and update your driver, who waits. No extra charge and the booking stands.
How do I pay?
Cash to the driver once you arrive. Nothing is taken online and there is no deposit.
