UVF Airport to Alfred's Diamond Villa Private Transfer

Alfred's Diamond Villa is in the Soufriere area on the southwest coast, about 36 km from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), with a drive of 45 to 60 minutes. The fare is $94 for the whole vehicle rather than per person, covering up to three passengers. Families of up to 5 (up to 3 adults and 2 children) add $25 per extra person, while groups of 4 or more adults, 3 or more children, or 6 or more people are charged our group rate, shown when you choose your passengers.

Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, takes the luggage and has you on the road a few minutes after customs. The rate is fixed when you book.

The drive from Hewanorra to Soufriere

The road runs west out of Vieux Fort through Laborie and Choiseul, then north into the hills above the coast. It is sealed the whole way and the shortest of the main airport routes by distance, but it bends and climbs almost continuously through villages and banana fields, so allow the full hour.

The Pitons come into view as the road crosses the high ground above the bay, and there is a safe place to pull in for a photograph before the descent into Soufriere.

If you are self catering, there is one piece of local knowledge worth having. The larger supermarkets are in Vieux Fort, minutes from the airport, while Soufriere has smaller shops and a market. Shopping at the start of the drive rather than the end means you arrive with everything you need. Tell us when you book and the driver will build in the stop.

The other thing to send us is a contact number for the villa. Properties like this often have no street address that a map will find, so a phone number or a pinned location gets your driver to the door rather than the general area.

Around the villa

Soufriere is a working fishing town rather than a resort strip. You get the waterfront, the market, small local restaurants and guesthouses, with the Pitons overhead and the Diamond estate and its botanical gardens close by on the same side of town.

Sulphur Springs, the drive-in volcano, is around ten minutes away. The Tet Paul Nature Trail gives you the two-Piton view on a short walk, and the Gros Piton trailhead at Fond Gens Libre is roughly twenty minutes off for anyone planning the climb. Malgretoute and Anse Chastanet are the nearest beaches, both a short drive.

The town is busiest on Saturday mornings and on days when cruise passengers come ashore. Anything you want to do in town is easier early.

Yes. SLU sits just outside Castries, and the fare from there is $120 for the whole vehicle, covering up to three passengers. Where should we shop for groceries?

Vieux Fort, at the start of the drive. The supermarkets there are bigger than anything in Soufriere, and a stop on the way costs you a few minutes rather than a return trip later.

How will the driver find the villa?

Send us a contact number or a pinned location when you book. Small properties here often do not have an address a map recognises, and a phone number solves it.

Is Soufriere town walkable from the villa?

The town centre itself is walkable once you are in it, but the hills around it are not, so check the exact spot with your host and plan transport for beaches and the springs.

Can you drive us during our stay?

Yes. Half days to Sulphur Springs and Diamond Falls, a full day around the south, or a rental car delivered to the villa are all easy to set up alongside the transfer.

What if my flight is delayed?

We follow it and update the driver, who waits. No extra charge and the booking stands.

How do I pay?
